August Mini Meet
On Friday August 10th, just before the D23 Destination D event took place, TWO Big PNW Mini Meet Up Events took place inside Disney California Adventure!

Behind the scenes at Soarin’ over California!
10:00am inside Disney's California Adventure Park
48 Guests joined Don for an exclusive Behind the Scenes tour of Soarin Over California.
After entering the attraction through a private back door entrance, we had the opportunity to ride the attraction together. We then went down and behind the 40 foot IMAX Screen to watch a ride cycle from behind the screen. The screen is a mesh type material so we could see all the ride vehicles, how they move and learned about the projection system.
The Cast Members then took us to a private area to show us actual film used for the attraction, showed us the aroma beads used for the fragrances during the ride and gave us an extensive history and answered any questions we had.

VIP World of Color Experience
9:00pm inside Disney's California Adventure Park
We will have our very own roped off VIP section with prime viewing where we can hang out, chat about our day, and watch a great water show!
50 Guests joined us for our very own Private VIP Viewing Area for the 9pm showing of World Of Color! No Fastpass, no waiting in line… Guests were able to walk right up 30 minutes before show time and find a great viewing spot in our VIP area. A tremendous view overlooking the lake without being overcrowded or getting wet.
