During World War II, Walt Disney and his staff contributed to the war effort in numerous ways. Over a four year period, the Studio produced propaganda films, military training films, and even two income tax films for the Treasury Department. Disney also lent his support to dozens of government and community home front initiatives. One of the Studio’s biggest wartime contributions was the creation of over 1,200 combat insignia for all branches of the U.S. military and her Allies.
Come see Mickey and the gang as you’ve never seen them before!
